6V4021 Piston Ring Compressor Group Available

Usage:

All 3512 Engines

The 6V4021 Piston Ring Compressor Group is a band-type piston ring compressor for use during service of 3512 Engines.

The 6V4021 Piston Ring Compressor Group is made up of a 6V4027 Handle Assembly and a 6V4028 Band Assembly.

The 6V4027 Handle Assembly works as a pivot on the 6V4028 Band Assembly for a fast clamp and easy release of the band. The knob in the handle assembly permits adjustment of the 6V4021 Piston Ring Compressor Group, and a lock is used to prevent release of the compressor by accident.

The 6V4021 Piston Ring Compressor Group.

------ WARNING! ------

When the 6V4021 Piston Ring Compressor Group is installed on a piston, the knob must be turned to tighten the tool on the piston, and the lock must be used. If this is not done, it is possible for the piston and connecting rod to come out of the tool when the assembly is lifted by the handles on the tool.

-------WARNING!-------

After the connecting rod and piston are lowered into the cylinder liner, loosen the band slightly to permit the piston to slide into the liner.

The 6V4028 Band Assembly has two handles which permit the user to lift and carry the piston and rod when the 6V4021 Piston Ring Compressor Group is installed on a piston.
