6V2119 Profile Tool Group Is Available For Inspection Of All Crankshafts In Caterpillar Engines

A 6V2119 Profile Tool Group is available for inspection of crankshaft journal profile and crankshaft journal surface texture. The profile tool group has four straight edges (profile gauges) in a range of 25 mm (1") to 74 mm (2.90"). These profile gauges are used to inspect all rod and main bearing journals. The profile tool group also has a comparator surface which is used to make a comparison between a crankshaft journal surface to a standard which is the maximum roughness permitted on a bearing journal surface.

NOTE: The profile gauges and the comparator surface are available separately if replacements are needed.
