6V2086 And 6V2087 Seal And Wear Sleeve Installers Available

Usage:


All 3400 Series Engines

The locations of the crankshaft seals and wear sleeves have been changed in the 3400 Series Engines.

Because of these changes new seal and wear sleeve installation tools are necessary.

The 6V2086 and 6V2087 Seal And Wear Sleeve Installers are available for use during installation of the crankshaft seals and wear sleeves in all 3400 Series Engines.

The 6V2086 Seal and Wear Sleeve Installer is used to install the crankshaft front seal and wear sleeve. The 6V2087 Seal And Wear Sleeve Installer is used to install the crankshaft rear seal and wear sleeve.

The 5P7300 Seal And Wear Sleeve Installer is still necessary for use on engines equipped with a Brake-Saver, but the 5P7304 Seal And Wear Sleeve Installer is no longer used and has been canceled.

Special Instruction, Form No. SMHS7100-01 has complete instructions for use of the 6V2086 and 6V2087 Seal And Wear Sleeve Installers, and the other tools which are necessary for installation of the crankshaft seals and wear sleeves.
