6V3030 Digital Multimeter, 6V3031 Case And 6V3032 Test Lead Kit Are Now Available For Troubleshooting Electrical Circuits And Components

Usage:

The 6V3030 Digital Multimeter Group is a small, hand held-test instrument which can be taken into the field. The multimeter has a tilt bail and no-slip pads to keep it in position during use.

Power for the 6V3030 Digital Multimeter Group comes from a standard 9-volt transistor battery. The battery will last approximately two years (2000 hours of continuous operation) with typical use-up to 10 times the normal battery life for digital multimeters. When approximately 200 hours of life is left in the battery, the decimal point blinks (goes on and off).

The new 6V3030 Digital Multimeter Group is both easy to read and easy to use. Its 31/2 digit liquid crystal display (LCD) has 12.7 mm (.5") numbers. Selection of one of the seven functions and 29 ranges is made with a turn of a single switch.

The accuracy of the 6V3030 Digital Multimeter Group, (that is, 0.25% of reading for direct current), has a full year warranty.

Other advantages of the 6V3030 Digital Multimeter Group are...

... Overload Protection-all inputs have protection against overload conditions which are the result of unknown (not known) signals and operator error. Also, all voltages and resistances have protection against voltage increases up to 6 kilovolts.
... In-Circuit Resistance Measurements-test voltages are held to less than 250 millivolts for accuracy in measurements in circuits where resistors are shunted by silicon diodes and transistors.
... Diode Test Function-permits accuracy during measurement of forward voltage drops across diodes and transistor junctions, even when semiconductors are shunted by resistors.
... 10 ampere maximum alternating current/direct current measurement.
... Insta-Ohms Quick Continuity Indicator-fast continuity checks are now possible with digital multimeters.

The 6V3030 Digital Multimeter is sent with standard test leads, battery and fuse, and Special Instructions SEHS7734 for detailed use of multimeter and SEHS7735 Instruction Card to be kept with the multimeter.

The 6V3031 Case Assembly is a heavy duty, leatherlook vinyl case. It has an adjustable strap.

The 6V3032 Test Lead Kit has red and black test leads and a selection of different probes.
