Improved Seal Now Used In Seawater Pump
Usage:
D343, D348 and D353 Marine Engines
Description of Change: An improved seal is now used in the seawater pump in D343, D348 and D353 Marine Engines. The spring in the new seal is made of a larger diameter wire than used in the former seal. Also, the metal used in the new spring has more resistance to corrosion than the metal used in the former spring.
Adaptable To: The new 5N6649 Seal is a direct replacement for the former 7L5663 Seal in this application.
