Usage:
3304 And 3306 Engines Equipped With 2P7831 Fan Drive Group
Description of Change: A 45° angle grease fitting is now used in the 2P7831 Fan Drive Group on 3304 and 3306 Engines. Formerly, a straight fitting was used at this location. The 45° angle fitting gives easier access for lubrication of the fan shaft bearings.
Adaptable As: The 3B8485 Fitting is a direct replacement for the 3B8489 Fitting in this application.
