Description of Change: A new rear cover and gasket are used on the water pumps on the above engines. The new cover is made of thicker steel than the former cover. The surface of the new cover is held to closer tolerances than those on the former cover. For this reason the new cover gives more equal force on the gasket to prevent leaks. The inner opening in the new gasket is circular in shape. The former gasket did not have a completely circular opening.
Adaptable As: The new parts are direct replacements for the former parts which are canceled.
