Longer Life Seal And Washer Available For Certain Water Pumps In Parts Stocks
Usage:
3208 Truck, Industrial, And Marine Engines
An improved seal is now being used in water pumps for 3208 Truck, Industrial, and Marine Engines and is also included in the water pump rebuild kits for these engines. In addition, the bearing nearest the pulley is now retained in the housing with Loctite to prevent bearing looseness and shaft motion.
New pumps and rebuilt kits with these improvements will have new part numbers and will be announced soon.
All the listed pumps that are rebuilt in the future should be reworked to include the new seal and Loctite to retain the bearing.
