Description of Change: The oil filter and oil filter base assemblies on the 3208 Engines have been redesigned (changed) to remove the bypass valve from the filter and put it in the filter base. A bypass valve in the filter base gives more control of bypass pressure than a valve in each oil filter.
Adaptable To: The new filter and filter base assemblies are adaptable to 3208 Engines as shown in the chart that follows:
