New Design Fuel Injection Valve Body Used In Fuel Injection Lines Group

Usage:

All 3406 Engines with Precombustion Chambers

Description of Change: A new design fuel injection valve body is used in the fuel injection lines group on 3406 Engines equipped with precombustion chambers. The new valve body has a narrower flange that will permit .05" (1.27 mm) more thread engagement of the retaining nut that holds it in the precombustion chamber. Formerly, it was possible for the retaining nut to loosen and cause damage to the fuel nozzle.

Adaptable To: The new 9N5529 Fuel Injection Valve Body is a direct replacement for the former 4N4877 Fuel Injection Valve Body in these engines.
