Description of Change: A new material is used for the disc in the valve assemblies in the fuel transfer pump groups on the 3306B and 3406B Truck Engines. The new disc material provides more service life at all operating temperatures.
Location of the 7W8412 Valve Assemblies with new disc.
Adaptable As: The part number of the 7W8412 Valve Assemblies with the new disc has not changed. Valve assemblies with the new disc can be identified by the blue color of the new disc. The new disc are in effect in the valve assemblies in the fuel transfer pump groups with 3306B Truck Engine 63Z3311 and 3406B Truck Engine 7FB56108.
