Prevent Gasket Leakage On 3406B Truck Engines Equipped With Jake Brakes
Usage:
There have been reports of 7W688 Gaskets failing on engines equipped with Jake Brakes. When these gaskets are installed, they become compressed. If used again, the gaskets will not provide an adequate seal. When making repairs to the 1W8347 Aftercooler Group, be sure new gaskets are installed.
Two gaskets are installed in each group. One gasket is used between the 8N8099 Cover and a cover plate and the other between an adapter and the other side of the inlet of the 8N8099 Cover.
