New Engine Timing Indicator Group Available

Usage:

All Engines

The new 8T5300 Engine Timing Indicator Group is available. The 8T5300 Engine Timing Indicator Group MUST be used with either a 8T5301 Diesel Timing Adapter Group or a 6V9060 Spark Timing Adapter Group. When used with the correct adapter group, the new timing indicator group will display either fuel injection timing for a diesel engine or spark plug firing for a spark ignited engine. The timing is displayed while the engine is running. The new timing indicator group can also be used to check the operation of automatic timing advance units on engines that are so equipped. The 8T5300 Engine Timing Indicator Group replaces the 6V3100 Timing Indicator Group which is canceled. The new timing indicator group has an improved universal display and can be powered from the vehicle's electrical system or from two 6 volt lantern type batteries (not included). Special Instruction, Form SEHS8580 provides more information about the use of the new 8T5300 Engine Timing Indicator Group.
