Caterpillar announces a new warranty program for used trucks powered by Caterpillar Engines. The program consists of two-level coverage. The first level is a 6 month/50,000 mile full parts and labor warranty. The second level extends this warranty to 12 months/100,000 miles with the last 6 month/50,000 mile period covering parts only.

The warranty may be purchased at time of sale for any Caterpillar 3306 or 3406 Truck Engine which has been in service for 5 years/500,000 miles or less. Inspection and certification by a Caterpillar Dealer is required.
