3406, 3406B, 3408, 3408B Truck Engines
Description of Change: New retaining rings are used on 34O6B Truck Engines. The new retaining rings are self-locking and will stay in the groove much better than former retaining rings.
Adaptable To: The new 7W8983 Retaining Ring is in effect with 3406b Truck Engine 7FB42058. The new retaining ring is a direct replacement for the former 9L6222 Retaining Ring in BrakeSaver groups on all of the above engines.
