Hardened Washers Used In Engine Oil Lines; Locks Removed From Oil Pump
Usage:
3208 Truck Engines
Description of Change: The locks have been replaced by hardened washers in the engine oil lines groups for 3208 Truck Engines. Also, the four locks formerly used on the oil pump cover have been removed. Both changes give better bolted joints.
Adaptable As: The locks used in the engine oil lines groups can be replaced by the hardened washers if longer bolts are used. See chart.
The four 2A5328 Locks can be removed from the oil pump cover in the 1W2206 and 1N4254 Oil Pump Groups and the same bolts reused here without any washers.
