Breather Element Added To PCV Valve
Usage:
All 3208 Truck Engines Equipped With PCV Valves
Description of Change: An additional element has been added to the PCV valve on all Caterpillar 3208 Engines. The additional element separates oil from the crankcase fumes and allows the oil to flow back into the engine. See the Illustration.
Location of element.
Adaptable To: The improved 9L8790 PCV Valve Assembly with the additional 7W7965 Element is a direct replacement for the former PCV valve. The part number did not change. The 7W7965 Element can be added to any former 9L8790 PCV Valve.
