Higher Torque Can Be Used With 6V6980 Nozzle Puller Group
Usage:
3300 Series Engines With 7000 Series Fuel Injection Nozzles
When removing fuel injection nozzles from the above engines, a torque higher than 17 N ·m (150 lb in) can be used on the puller screw of the 6V6980 Nozzle Puller Group. In many cases this can be done without damage to the fuel injection nozzle and result in higher nozzle reuse. Make sure that the fuel injection nozzles are tested before they are reinstalled in the engine. Make note of this change in Special Instructions, Form SEHS8094, and in the Service Manuals for the above engines.
