Contact Warranty Manager For Vibration Complaints On Western Star Trucks

Usage:

The Warranty Manager of Western Star Trucks, requests that clutch-related vibration problems be brought to his attention before repairs are made. Typically, a Western Star Truck customer will go to the nearest Caterpillar dealer to have a vibration problem corrected. The customer usually thinks the vibration is caused by the Caterpillar Engine installed in his truck. The truck may still be under warranty. If the Caterpillar dealer determines that the vibration is caused by the clutch, he will repair or replace it. When this happens, Western Star Trucks has no way to prove to its supplier that the clutch was defective. The clutch supplier will not reimburse Western Star Trucks for warranty costs.

Dealers are requested to contact Joe Rush, Warranty Manager for Western Star Trucks in Canada, before clutch-related vibration problems are corrected. His telephone number is (604) 860-3319.
