3400 Series Truck Engines
Description of Change: New inlet valves are used in all 3400 Series Truck Engines. Only the facing material (alloy) on the new valve is different from the former valve. The dimensions of the new and former valves are the same. The new facing material is used to reduce dependence on the cobalt based alloy used on the former valve.
Adaptable As: The new 2W2622 Inlet Valve is a direct replacement for the former 1W3859 Inlet Valve in all 3400 Series Truck Engines. The new 2W2622 Inlet Valve will provide the same service life as the former 1W3859 Inlet Valve.
