Installation Instructions For Turbocharger Bearing Kit

It is important that the components of the 9N2041 Bearing Kit are correctly installed. Field reports indicate that the wear washers, part of the bearing kit, have been installed incorrectly in some cases. This can cause excessive oil flow to the turbine end of the turbocharger. A result can be excessive oil consumption and external oil leakage.
The wear washers must be installed on the turbine side of each of the bearings as shown in the illustration.
