Put a mark through the article "Be Sure Your Engine's Performance Is At Its Best With Power Analysis Report (PAR) ", on Page 4 of Truck Engine News, March 31, 1982. Make a reference to this article.

A Power Analysis Report (PAR) is an in-chassis truck engine test procedure. It permits participating dealers to make a comparison between the performance of the Caterpillar Engine you presently own and the original performance specifications for that engine throughout its full range of operation.

Test acccuracy is very high. To make the test, the dealer uses a chassis dynamometer and a special computer program specifically written for Caterpillar truck engines.

The PAR test has recently become available at several more dealers. The list that follows shows all dealers who now have PAR testing. An asterisk is used to show the dealers who have recently added PAR.
