A Power Analysis Report (PAR) is an in-chassis test procedure which permits the dealer to make a comparison between the performance of the Caterpillar Engine you presently own and the original performance specifications for that engine throughout its full range of operation.
The level of test accuracy is very high. To make the test, the dealer uses a chassis dynamometer and a special computer program specifically written for dealers who make this type of program available.
