New Regulator Assemblies Used
Usage:
All Truck Engines With 4N3986, 5N5692, 6N9294 and 3T6352 Alternator Groups
Description of Change: New regulator assemblies are used in these alternator groups. The new regulator assemblies have a higher voltage rating. They also have a resistor to make sure that the regulator never turns off completely. The former regulator assemblies at times caused a wrong indication to be sent to the light emitting diode in the Electronic Monitoring System panel.
Adaptable To: The new parts are direct replacements for the former parts as shown in the chart.
