New Front Housing Assembly And Gaskets Used

Usage:

3306 And 1673C Truck Engines

Description of Change: A new front housing assembly, front housing gasket and front plate gasket are used in the front housing group for 3306 Truck Engines.

The new front housing assembly has a different bolt arrangement than the former housing assembly. Because of the different bolt arrangement, a new front housing gasket and a new front plate gasket are necessary.

Adaptable As: The new parts, used together are direct replacements for the former parts as shown in the chart for earlier 3306 and 1673C Truck Engines.

The former 6N8056 Front Housing Assembly.

The new gaskets can be used with the former housing assembly in earlier 3306 and 1673C Truck Engines. But, the former gaskets must not be used with the new housing assembly because there will be oil leakage. The former gaskets can still be used on engines which have the former housing assembly.
