Crankshaft Rear Seal

Usage:

Remove Crankshaft Rear Seal

start by:

a) remove flywheel

1. Remove the crankshaft rear seal, using seal puller group (A).

Install Crankshaft Rear Seal

1. Install the crankshaft rear seal as follows: Use tool group (A).


TYPICAL EXAMPLE

a) Install the locator assembly (3) and fastening screws (2) on the crankshaft.

b) Put Loctite Sealant 8M8059 on the outer diameter of the metal portion of the seal. Put clean oil on the lip of the seal and the seal pilot (1). Install the seal on the seal pilot and put them into position on the locator assembly (3). The spring-loaded lip of the seal must be toward the front of the engine as shown.

c) Put the seal installer ring (6) and pusher plate (5) into position on the stud of the locator assembly (3).

d) Install the nut (4) and tighten the nut until the seal makes contact with inner surface of the flywheel housing.

2. Remove tool group (A).

a) install flywheel
