Flywheel

Usage:

Remove Flywheel

1. Remove all but one of the flywheel fastening bolts. Install a 5/8" - 11NF guide pin 6 in. long in the crankshaft. Fasten a short section of chain to the flywheel as shown.

2. Remove the last flywheel fastening bolt. Remove the flywheel, using tool (A). Weight 150 lbs. (68 kg).

Install Flywheel

1. Install a 5/8" - 18NF guide pin 6 in. long, in the marked hole of the crankshaft.

2. Fasten a short section of chain to the flywheel. Put the flywheel into position on the crankshaft, using tool (A). The marked hole on the flywheel must engage with the guide pin in the crankshaft.

3. Install all but one of the flywheel fastening bolts (1). Remove the lifting chain and guide pin and install the last fastening bolt. Tighten the bolts to 150 ± 20 lb.ft. (20,7 ± 2,8 mkg).
