Oil Cooler

Usage:

Remove Oil Cooler

start by:

a) remove water pump

1. Remove the exhaust pipe. Remove the oil filter from base (1).

2. Remove the bolts (4) that hold shield (5) to the cylinder block.

3. Disconnect oil line (2) from the cover.

4. Disconnect oil supply line (3) from the turbocharger.

5. Remove the bolts that hold base (1) to cover, and remove the base (1).

6. Remove the bolts and nuts from cover (6). Remove cover (6).

7. Remove oil cooler core (7) from cylinder block.

Install Oil Cooler

1. Put oil cooler core (1) in position in cylinder block.

2. Install cover (6). Install the bolts and nuts that hold cover to cylinder block and to oil cooler core. Tighten the nuts (5) to 32 ± 5 lb.ft. (4.4 ± 0.7 mkg).

3. Connect oil line (4) to the turbocharger.

4. Connect oil line (3) to cover (6).

5. Put base (2) in position on cover, and install the bolts.

6. Install the shield and bolts on cover (6).

7. Install oil filter element and case, and tighten the bolt to 20 ± 5 lb.ft. (2.8 ± 0.7 mkg).

8. Install the exhaust pipe.
