preparatory step:

a) remove air compressor (right exhaust manifold only)

1. Remove the four exhaust manifold-to-turbocharger inlet pipe mounting bolts and nuts.

2. Remove the exhaust manifold retaining nuts, washers and locks. Remove the exhaust manifold - weight 65 lbs. (30 kg).

Install Exhaust Manifolds

1. Coat the threads of the exhaust manifold retaining studs with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound.

2. Position the exhaust manifold on engine and install the retaining nuts, washers and locks.

3. Install the exhaust manifold-to-turbocharger inlet pipe mounting bolts and nuts.
