Usage:

1. Remove the oil filter base-to-cylinder block mounting bolts. Remove the oil filter base.
Install Oil Filter Base
1. Position the oil filter base and install the mounting bolts.
concluding step:
a) install oil cooler
Disassemble Oil Filter Base
preparatory step:
a) remove oil filter base
1. Remove the oil filter bypass valve retaining plug, washer, spring and valve.
2. Remove the oil cooler bypass valve retaining plug, washer, spring and valve.
3. Remove the plate and oil filter base.
4. Remove the case retaining bolts, washers and seals.
Assemble Oil Filter Base
1. Install the case retaining bolts, washers and seals in the bases.
2. Install plate and oil filter base.
3. Install the oil cooler bypass valve, spring, washer and plug.
4. Install the oil filter bypass valve, spring, washer and plug.

a) install oil filter base
