- Cab front light, cab rear light and hood light have a replacement procedure, please follow this procedure for service.
- Apply the mounting torques that are shown in the replacement procedure and use common tooling.
- Minor adjustment to cab front light mounting position is required on window guard rail. For details, refer to the replacement procedure of cab front light.
- Keep good clearance for the lighting with the cab, cab roof, and hood.
- Do not change any lighting harness routing.
Replacement of Cab Front Light
- When the cab front light is burnt, replace the existing 426-5380 Flood Lamp Gp with new 479-8451 Flood Lamp Gp (2).
- Take out the lighting harness connector and then take out the lamp mounting nut.
- Assemble the new flood lamp gp (2) and then connect the lighting harness connector
- Tighten to a final mounting torque of
18 ± 2 N·m (159 ± 18 lb in) . For lateral adjustment, tighten to7 ± 1 N·m (62 ± 9 lb in) .Show/hide tableIllustration 2 g06425275 (A) Mounting hole - If the machine has the front window guard assembled, the cab front light installed at window guard and the light mounting hole (A) needs to be moved forward
5.0 mm (0.19 inch) as shown in Illustration 2, to keep the clearance between cab roof and light.
