New collar and longer screw hardware improvement is now available for RS400 rotation sensor used on the machines listed above. The new improvement ensures that the clamping screw on the lever arm has sufficient threads engaged on the lever arm.

Screw length was changed to longer screws (M3 x 7mm) and the plastic collar lip dimension (the mating area with the sensor groove) is reduced from the current dimension of 1.78 mm (0.0701 inch) to a new dimension of 1.32 ± 0.13 mm (0.0519 ± 0.005 inch) to resolve the fitment difficulties of the sensor installation.

Note: Trimble offers a replacement screw part number (117556), and service kit replacement (0395-3140S) that includes the new screw and the replacement dogbone.
