Description Of Change: New software is now used. The new software group improves the machine control module software for the Telehandler. The software version and files have changed without changing the part number or reference number in Table 1.

Adaptable To: The following software is adaptable to the machines within the listed serial numbers, and is effective with all machines after the listed serial numbers.

Revised DTC 431 FUEL SENSOR - SHORT TO BATTERY OR OPEN CIRCUIT to detect when the fuel level sensor is disconnected.
Added OPERATOR TOOLS>ENABLE MAINT INTERVAL to analyzer layout. This menu may be used to optionally enable maintenance interval notifications via DTC 874 MAINTENANCE INTERVAL. Maintenance interval notifications are now disabled by default.
Merged P1.* TL D and P2.* TH D software versions into one P14.* global release version.
Load Stability Indicator will now prevent outriggers UP and DOWN and frame leveling LEFT and RIGHT when the LSI function cutout is active.

Fixed an issue that caused the LSI Passive Mode Indicator to briefly illuminate when the brake pedal or hazard switch was pressed.
Improved vehicle speed limiting feature to engage smoothly when accelerating the vehicle to the speed limit configured by MACHINE SETUP > SPEED LIMIT.
Load Stability Indicator will now prevent outriggers UP and DOWN and frame leveling LEFT and RIGHT when the LSI function cutout is active.

The new software is available in the form of a flash file through the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS). A newer part number may be available. SIS web only displays the latest available flash file.
