564-4995 Window Wiper Motor As

Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but an interim repair has not been defined. In case of failure, replace the failed part with the new 564-4995 Window Wiper Motor As. If the fuse has been blown, replace the fuse with new a fuse. After removing the failed wiper motor GP, do not disassemble it.

If there is a failure, create a Service Information Management System (SIMS) entry for the failed part to generate a "Send-It-Back" (SIB) request. A SIB request will be issued to you through the SIB process after the SIMS entry is created. Submit the failed part and reference CPI number 435217 to SIMS.
