The brake filter bypass pressure switch group (A) may fail on the machines listed above. The failure may occur due to broken wires and restricted filters.

Solution

Caterpillar is aware of this problem and is recommending the following interim corrective solution.

In the event of failure, replace failed brake filter bypass pressure switch group (A) with a new part of the same part number.
