Introduction
This Special Instruction provides information regarding the compatible inverters for Cat® PVT 110 and PVT 110 ARC with Galvanic Isolation.
Do not perform any procedure in this Special Instruction until you have read the information and you understand the information.

Before servicing/performing maintenance on the machine, electrical power must be physically disconnected; battery plugs must be disconnected from the batteries, or the trailing cable must be unplugged, and warning tags and padlocks shall be applied by a certified electrician. Certified electricians shall perform or direct any electrical work, including any energized testing, repair work in controllers, motors, or other approved compartments, and shall insure that all compartments are properly closed and inspected prior to re-energization. All applicable lock out and tag out procedures must be followed. |
Do not operate the machine if any guards or covers are missing or inadequately secured. Personnel could be seriously injured or machine damage may occur. |
Observe the safe working load limits of all lifting and blocking devices and keep a safe distance from suspended/blocked loads. Personnel may be seriously injured or killed by falling loads. |
List of Compatible Inverters
This document provides a list of inverters that are compatible and approved for the usage with the CAT PVT 110 and PVT 110 ARC Modules. This list does not provide performance evaluations or comparisons between inverters and does not recommend a specific inverter manufacturer. Absence from the list does not indicate that there is an incompatibility with an inverter, only that CAT has not completed the verification of the inverter.
CAT warrants its PVT 110 and 110 ARC modules according to the CAT Module Warranty Terms & Conditions (CAT PD-5-102, “Module Warranty Terms & Conditions”) provided modules are installed, operated and serviced as described in the CAT User Guide (CAT PD-5-200, “User Guide”) and in the System Design and Application document (CAT PD-2-303, “SDA”).
CAT requires all system designs to be submitted for review and approval via the SDA process; therefore, for warranty purposes, every system with CAT modules must be covered by an SDA. Project Developers and\or Customers should request this document from CAT and obtain approval prior to equipment procurement and installation.
Approval of the following listed inverters is based upon and in accordance with the inverter data sheet effective at the time of evaluation. Thus, changes in inverter specification after CAT approval may nullify the confirmation of compatibility. CAT reserves the right to change the approval requirements for the inverter as well as a possible revocation of the inverter approval list.
