Improved Routing for the Heater Hose Lines Group Is Now Used for Certain 745 Articulated Truck {1812, 7304}

Description Of Change: An improved routing for the heater hose lines group is now available for the machines listed above. The new routing provides sufficient space for the heater line elbow between the cooler manifold and EGR cooler.

Adaptable To: The new routing is adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and is effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

Rework Procedure

  1. Reroute the new hose (1) to a spare port at the front of engine oil cooler and connect using elbow (B) and adapter (3), as shown in Illustration 1.

    Note: Retain the 090-0744 Elbow from 495-4896 Hose.

  2. Secure hose (1) using clip (2), as shown in Illustration 1.

  3. Use blanking plug (A) removed from front of the cooler to blank port at rear of cooler, shown in Illustration 1.
