Description Of Change: The steering lines group is improved on the machines listed above. The steering lines group has new hose assemblies with thicker coupling stem and more robust sealing area and new clips to improve the service life of the steering lines group.

New 561-7299 Hose As replaces the former 254-4006 Hose As in 433-3793 Steering Lines Gp and 197-4018 Steering Lines Gp.

Improved steering lines group is adaptable to the machines within the listed serial numbers, and is effective in production with all the machines after the listed serial numbers.

  1. Remove hose assembly (A), clip (B), clip (C), bolt assembly (D), hard washer (E), and nut (F) as shown in Illustration 1. Discard hose assembly (A) and save the rest of the parts.

  2. Re-orient elbow assembly (G). Install hose assembly (1), and two O-Ring seals (2) using clip (B), clip (C), bolt assembly (D), hard washer (E), and nut (F) that were saved in Step 1 of Section "Rework Procedure of 433-3793 Steering Lines Gp in 797F Off-Highway Trucks". Refer to Illustration 2.
