A new brake software is now available to the machines that are listed above. The new and former software part numbers are listed in Table 1.

Note: The new software is available in the form of a flash file through the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS). Go to SIS web to make sure that the new flash file part number is still the latest flash file part number. A newer flash file part number may be available. SIS only displays the latest available flash file.
Required Service Tool
Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) Service Tool, release 2018A v1.0 or later.
The new software has varying improvements that are listed below:
Improvements For 794 AC and 795F AC
- Updated cooling fan control strategy.
- Maximum temperature will drive fan speed instead of the system priority-based method.
- Removed cold final drive speed limit.
Improvement For 794 AC
- Added serial number prefix HRT to support T4 configurations of truck.
Note: This software will only support 794 and 795F Large Mining Trucks (LMT) from this release forward.
Note: Chassis software must be updated to latest production release to avoid a communication diagnostic with brake ECM.
