Air Inlet Manifold - Remove and Install

Usage:

Removal Procedure

Note: Use appropriate caps and plugs on all fittings to prevent contamination.

Note: Inspect all O-rings, gaskets, and seals for wear and damage. Replace if necessary.

    Repeat for each tube assembly.

  1. Remove hose clamp (1), two bolts (3), and tube assembly (2).

  2. Remove all necessary mounting hardware (4).

  3. Disconnect harness (5) and position out of the way.

  4. Disconnect sensors (6), and (7), and atomizer (8) and position out of the way.

  5. Remove eight bolts (9) and manifold (10).

  6. Repeat steps 1 - 5 for the remaining inlet manifolds.

  7. Repeat steps 1 - 6 on the opposite side.

  1. Install the air inlet manifold in reverse order of removal.

    1. Install pressure sensor (exhaust inlet) (6). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pressure Sensor (Exhaust Inlet) - Remove and Install".

    2. Install temperature sensor (exhaust inlet) (7). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Temperature Sensor (Exhaust Inlet) - Remove and Install".

    3. Lubricate the inside diameter of the T-joint with Tooling (A) when installing tube assembly (2).
