NOTICE |
---|
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the machine. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
Reference: See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the capacity of the DEF tank for your machine.
Note: Do not fill the DEF tank from a contaminated container or funnel.
Note: Do not over fill the tank. DEF can freeze and needs room for expansion.
Note: To access the top fill port on the DEF tank, using a portable access system (ladder, stair assembly, man lift, or other portable access system) that is suitable and compliant to local regulations may be necessary.
