Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Electric horn group (A) 434-3568 Horn (B) 474-1502 Switch

Reports have been received that the horn may malfunction on the machines listed above. The following issues have been reported to have occurred:

• Horn does not sound when pressed

• Horn sounds with no human interaction

• Turning of the steering wheel caused the horn to sound

These issues mentioned above may be due to water ingress, rust or snagging of the wire creating a short in the 473-1594 Steering Column Gp.

Solution

In the event of failure, replace the 434-3568 Horn (A) with the same part number.
