HPU300 Hydraulic Power Pack Caterpillar


Daily Inspection

Usage:

HPU300 AP3
Check the power pack at the beginning of each work shift.

Inspection Work

Check the oil level after a test run and add oil if necessary.

  • Check the oil level on the sight gauge

  • Check the hydraulic oil radiator for dirt, clean the radiator if necessary

  • Check and if necessary clean the electric fan once a day

  • Check pin lock

  • Check the indicator lights

  • Check the hydraulic couplings for dirt

  • Check the threaded fittings for tightness

Leakage Check

Check for tightness, leaks, and chafing: pipes, flexible lines, and threaded fittings of the following assemblies and components. Repair if necessary.

  • Hydraulic system

  • Hoses (visual check)

Visual Check

Correct function, deformations, damage, surface cracks, wear, and corrosion

  • Check the wheels for damage

  • Check the tire pressure and correct the pressure as required

  • Check the hoses for damage before switching on the power pack.

  • Check the hose couplings for damage. The hose couplings must be properly seated

  • Check the lifting point.
