Description Of Change: The new fuel injection pump uses an improved coating on the pump plunger.
Adaptable To: The new 493-9679 Fuel Injection Pump Gp replaces the existing 379-0150 Fuel Injection Pump Gp. The new fuel injection pump group is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.
Note: The new 493-9679 Fuel Injection Pump Gp requires the use of the latest engine software for the pump to function properly. The latest engine software can be downloaded from SIS.
This change is effective on the engine serial numbers listed in Table 1.
