New Engine Software and Fuel Injectors Are Available For Certain C175 Commercial Engines {1290, 1920}

Usage:

Generator Set: C175-16 GEN SET (S/N: WYB1-UP); C175-20 (S/N: BXR1-UP)
Locomotive Engine: C175-16 (S/N: 3A91-UP; Y3A1-UP; KWT1-UP)
Marine Engine: C175-16 (S/N: M6A1-UP; M6B1-UP)
Petroleum Engine: C175-16 (S/N: P6L1-UP; P5P1-UP)

If an engine is updated with the new fuel injectors that are available, then the engine software must be updated as well.

Older fuel injectors may be run with the new engine software without the need to change to the new fuel injectors though.

Refer to the tables below for the new fuel injectors and engine software for each application.

Note: After installing the software, the "Level 1 Fuel Filter Restriction" value will default to 60 percent if not previously altered in the monitoring system. Change to 85 percent in Cat^® Electronic Technician to equal the previous 105 kPa (15 psi) set point.
