- Turn the fuel supply to the OFF position and turn the power disconnect switch to the OFF position.

- Remove bolts (1), fuel transfer pump (4), and the O-ring seal (not shown).

- Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (13).
- Use Tooling (C) and a suitable press to remove assembled bearing (12) and gear (9) from adapter (14).
- Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to remove bearing (8) from gear (9).
- Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to remove bearing (12) from gear (9).
- Install fuel transfer pump (4) in the reverse order of removal.
