Removal Procedure

1. Use tooling (A) and tooling (B) to move retaining rings (1) .

2. Push collars (2) into aftercooler.

3. Remove bolt (3) and bolt (5) .

4. Remove twelve bolts (4) and remove lower housing (6) .

5. Remove bolts (7) and temperature and pressure sensor (8) .

6. Disconnect harness assembly (9) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install temperature and pressure sensor (8) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 9 ± 1 N·m (80± 9lb in).

   2. Tighten twelve bolts (4) to a torque of 24.5 ± 2.5 N·m (217 ± 22 lb in).

   3. Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 49 ± 5 N·m (36 ± 4lb ft).

   4. Tighten bolt (3) to a torque of 49 ± 5 N·m (36 ± 4lb ft).

   5. Use Tooling (C) on collars (2) to ease installation.
