Diesel Exhaust Fluid Injector - Replace - Emission Related Component

- Remove the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) line (1) from the injector (4).
- Remove the coolant lines (2) from the injector.
- Remove the electrical connector (3) from the injector.
- Remove the bolts from the injector and remove the injector.

Illustration 2 g03878566 - Replace gasket. The steel side of the gasket should face towards Clean Emissions Module (CEM) outlet.
- Replace the injector.
- Apply nickel anti-seize to bolt threads.
- Torque the bolts of the injector to
5 N·m (3.7 lb ft) . Retighten all bolts to5 N·m (3.7 lb ft) , then turn 90°. - Connect the electrical connector.
- Connect the coolant lines.
- Connect the DEF line.
