New Turbochargers Are Available for Certain C13 and C15 Truck Engines {1052, 1053}

- C13 (S/N: S3C1-UP; LEE1-UP)
- C15 (S/N: SDP1-UP; B5R1-UP)
The improved turbochargers have a new oil deflector to prevent possible oil leakage.
The new turbochargers replace the existing turbochargers in 2007 ACERT On-Highway Truck Engines. The new turbochargers are adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.
Refer to Table 1 for the Reman part numbers and new equivalent part numbers.

A new turbocharger has been implemented with serial numbers SFC160066-UP.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS9281 for the proper installation of the new turbochargers listed in Table 1.
