Initial Belt Tension(1)  Used Belt Tension(2) 
400 to 490 N (90 to 110 lb)  265 to 355 N (60 to 80 lb) 
(1) Initial Belt Tension refers to a new belt.
(2) Used Belt Tension refers to a belt that has been in operation for 30 minutes or more at the rated speed.

Note: Use a 144-0235 Belt Tension Gauge to measure the tension of the belts.
